Kendra Bhavas

If we look at the horoscope we find there are 12 houses. They are well balanced with 6 beneficial houses and 6 evil houses. Of the 6 beneficial houses 4 house are the Kendra houses. These kendra houses are placed such that they deemed to have great influence on the native. The planets placed in the angles bring power and fame to the natives.

The kendra bhavas are the 1st house, 4th house, 7th house and 10th house. They are the most auspicious houses. That means all planets placed in the kendra make the native healthy, wealthy and wise. As per hindu Mythology Kendras are the houses of Vishnu and Trines(5th and 9th house) are the house of Goddess Laxmi,.

The fortune of an individual is directly proportional to the no. of planets in the Kendra houses. The more the planets the more is the native fortunate.It is believed that within  the 4 kendra  4th is more auspicious than 1st, 7th is more auspicious than 4th and 10th is more auspicious than 7th. Significance of the 2nd Kendra (4th house): The Fourth House represents peace, happiness, home, self prosperity. It also predicts about mother, landed property, and conveyance.

Significance of the 3rd kendra(7th house): The seventh house is the house of marriage. This house represents life partner, desire. This house predicts hobbies, courage, expectations of  a person.This house predicts the is not only the house of marriage but it can also predict the expectations of a person from their relationships. Seventh house can predict the inferiority and superiority complex in a person. This house also predicts the traits of personality a person wants to exhibit.

Significance of the 4th Kendra(10th house): 10th house represents occupation, honours, success, means of livelihood, Capabilities of an individual can be measured on the basis of his achievements and progress.
There are various Yogas formed with kendra houses. Some of the important yogas are:

1. Hamsa Yoga: When Jupiter occupies a Kendra which should be his own house or exaltation. This yoga is formed. The person will have a hansome body, he is liked by others and he will be pure in mind.
2. Malviya Yoga: When Venus occupies quadrant (kendra) in his own or exaltation sign. The persone will have well developed body with strong minded, wealthy, happy with children and wife.
3. Sasa Yoga:When Saturn is placed in the kendra bhavas in its own sign or exaltation, this yoga is formed.The person will command good no. of subordinates, He will be the head of the town or village or can be a king. But his character can be questionable.
4. Ruchaka Yoga: When Mars occupies kendra in his own sign or in exaltation, this yoga is formed. The person will have strong physique, famous. He wil have traditional knowledge, ruddy complexion, attractive body, charitable disposition and leader of an army.
5. Bhadra Yoga: When Mercury occupies Kendra in his own sign or exaltation, this yoga is formed. The person will be strong, lion-like face, well developed chest, will be taciturn and will help his relatives. He will also have long life.

If we amalgamate the complete kendras we can see that from first kendra to the 4th kendra it is a chain process as the native born with his basic trait and personality - the range of happiness and luxury he can attain -the life partners contribution - the professional overview all comes under the kendra bhavas.hence, all the 4 kendras play an important role in the natives personal and professional life and more than 60% of the life of an individual is judged through the kendras. hence the importance of kendra bhavas in an individuals life is incredible.
