Most of the people today are stressed and work really hard in their lives to be successful. They face various ups and downs in their family life. In that situation, if the birth-charts are not matched properly then the planets, nakshatras and signs may create unfavorable circumstances, which will give rise to conflicts in the married life of the couple. That is why parents prefer to match the birth-charts of their daughter or son before marriage.
There are two methods to match the birth-charts and they are Ashtkoot and Beeskoota. Ashtkoot is very famous in North India and Beeskoota in South India. There are eight types of Varga or Koota in Ashtkoota and twenty in Beeskoota. Yogini Koota is a part of Beeskoota. Before we talk about this Koota, we should know the total numbers of Yoginis.
According to Astrology, there are eight types of Yoginis: Brahmani, Kuamari, Varahi, Vaishnavi, Mahendri, Chamunda, Maheshwari and Mahalakshmi. These Yoginis are established in the north-east direction. Each Yogini is the lord of three Nakshatras. Yoginis are established in the east direction according to Chakra along with the nakshatras they are the lords of. For instance:Brahmani is the first Yogini, therefore, Ashwini which is the first Nakshtra is placed with it. That is how it proceeds in the same order. The total number of Nakshatras is 27 and three Nakshatras are placed with each Yogini. As a result Purvabhadrapada, Uttrabhadrapada and revati are left, which were later established with Brahmani, Kaumari and Varahi in the east direction.
After establishing Yoginis with Nakshatras, the Nakshatras in the birth-charts of girl and boy are assessed to obtain their birth-yogini. If they are born in the same Yogini then it will be very auspicious for them and their married life. If the Yoginis of girl or boy are different and do not match then it may be inauspicious for them and as a result, their married life may suffer.
One thing is important to note here in an another method of Yogini Koot, after every three Nakshatras have been established in respective Yoginis, the remaining ones are placed in Veshnavi Yogini. The results of both the methods of Yogini koot are similar and you can obtain results through any method.
