Consideration of Significant Elements of Houses in Their Dashas

Every birth-chart has twelve houses, nine planets, twelve signs and twenty-seven Nakshatras. When they all are associated with each other, then the person faces different incidents in his life. Every house has its own significant elements, which acknowledge good and bad qualities of the house. According to these significant elements, he will reap results of the period. There are some principles according to which planets give results as follows.

• 1. Firstly, planet will give results of the house it is placed in.
• 2. Secondly, it will give results of the sign it is placed in.
• 3. Lastly, it will give results of the planets which aspect it. For instance Mahadasha of the Ascendant lord and sub-period of the sixth lord will give physical problem to the native.

Let us acknowledge how period will influence the person according to the houses in the birth-chart.

1. Period of the Ascendant
In this period, he may get good or bad results regarding health and body. During the period of the Ascendant lord, if sub-period of the eighth lord is also present in the birth-chart, then he may experience the worst phase of his life due to health ailments. Because the first house is the house of body and the eighth house is the house of age and death. Due to the direct association with each other, the malefic Ascendant may give health troubles to him.

2. Period of the Second House
The house of money is also known as the house of primary education. His savings and family relationships are also considered through this house. The second house is also considered for voice and eyes. During Mahadasha of planets placed in this house, the person will get pleasures of money and family. If this house has an auspicious influence, then he will earn good education, good food and influential voice.

If the second lord forms relationship with Sun, then he will be a generous and an intelligent person. His wealth will increase. If the second lord forms a relationship with the second lord, then his mind will divert towards knowledge, wisdom and spirituality. But when the second lord forms relationship with Saturn, then he may face problems in education.

3. Period of the Third House
This is the house of siblings, courage, bravery and hard work. This house considers affection, support and partnership which he will get from his siblings. If the twelfth lord is placed in the third house, then results will be inauspicious. He may be deprived from the happiness of siblings. Conflicts may occur between them.

The third house also indicates ego of a person. Therefore, when the eighth lord is placed in this house during its period or sub-period, then he may do his own loss.

4. Period of the Fourth House
Generally land, house, mother and material pleasures are considered through this house. Peace of the house and friends is also considered through this house. Therefore this house is known as the house of happiness.

The fourth house is the house of public. Political leaders are considered through the tenth house. Therefore, when Moon is in the sub-period during Mahadasha of the fourth lord, the person will become popular in public and will achieve success in the field of politics.

But if the fourth house is malefic or the fourth lord is influenced by the malefic aspect, then he may not achieve success in the politics. Moon is the Karak of public. When inauspicious Moon is in the sub-period during Mahadasha of the fourth lord, then he may face defeat in the elections.

5. Period of the Fifth House
The fifth house is the house of children. This house indicates the happiness and cooperation which he will get from his children. This is the house of strength and intelligence too. This house also acknowledges his happiness, love and friendly relations with other people. This is also the house of acts, which he performed in his last birth.

He can acknowledge his father’s achievements and defeat through this house. According to some astrologers, this house also shows remedies of the diseases because this house is the twelfth from the sixth house.

This house can also speculate whether he will make money from the stock market or not. If Rahu-Ketu are placed in this house or the fifth lord forms a relationship with Rahu and Ketu during Mahadasha, then he will earn money from stocks, lotteries, gambling and betting.

6. Period of the Sixth House
This house considers his disease, loan, enemies and struggle. This house is also considered for short term diseases. He may be less courageous in the period of the third lord. Generally, a stronger sixth house from the Ascendant is not good. Because you may have health troubles due to the sixth house.

If the sixth lord is in the sub-period from the lord of Mahadasha, then he may get bad results. Sub-period of the sixth lord from the Ascendant increases his liabilities. He may always have a fear of his enemies. Sometimes, he may leave his position in job. Sometimes even his beloved may become his enemies in this period.

7. Period of the Seventh House
This is the house of marriage and spouse. Business deals and partnerships are also considered through this house. The seventh house is also acknowledged for an independent business. This house also considers the spouse’s character, appearance, nature and her influence in the society. It also speculates the time of marriage, in-laws and happiness of married life.

The sign, position or aspect of Saturn in the seventh house may delay his marriage. But the placement of the sign of Mercury in this house enhances the possibilities of early marriage. The marriage yoga will form in the period of seventh lord and sub-period of Venus. In addition Jupiter, when in transit, aspects the seventh house or the seventh lord, then marriage is on the cards.

8. Period of the Eighth House
This house is the house of life cycle. This is the house of age, death and disgrace. Bequest which he will incur is also considered through this house. He may face the worst phase of his life due to the period of the eighth lord. If the eighth house becomes inauspicious while it is in the period of the Ascendant, Sun or Moon in the birth-chart, he may get very bad results.

If the eighth lord is malefic and is placed in the Ascendant and the Ascendant does not have any auspicious influence, then possibilities of facing physical problems or financial loss in the period or sub-period are there. On the other hand, if the Ascendant lord and the eighth lord are strong, then he will be physically fit and have long life.

9. Period of the Ninth House
The ninth house is the house of fortune and religion. It is said that active participation in spiritual and religious activities strengthen fortune of the native. This house has more importance than other houses in the birth-chart. It is because sometimes the person may not achieve fruits according to his hard work, but if the ninth house is strong in the birth-chart, then he will achieve success and prosperity easily.

Expectations, abilities and fortune are the reasons of good fruits which the person reaps from the ninth house. Period of the ninth lord gives high position, good fortune and prosperity to him. But if the ninth lord is maleficent, then he may face disgrace without any reason.

10. Period of the Tenth House
The tenth house is the house of acts and livelihood. The acts the person performs to earn money are considered through this house. Their results are considered through the eleventh house. He will reap occupation in the period or sub-period of those planets which form a relationship with the tenth house. If its lord is auspicious, then he will incur prosperity, promotion, respect and fame in the period or sub-period of the lord.

11. Period of the Eleventh House
The eleventh house is the house of income. This is one of the Trishday houses ( three houses when associated with each other are known as Trishday house. They are 3, 6 and 11.). If in the period of the eleventh lord, the second lord is also in the sub-period, then wealth of a person will increase. And if many planets give their auspicious influence to this house, then he will earn income from different sources. But he may suffer from physical problems in this period. If its lord is malefic, then his tensions may increase and conflicts may occur in the house.

In the Mahadasha of the eleventh lord and in the sub-period of enemy of the Ascendant lord, he may have physical problems. When Saturn in transit aspects this house during Mahadasha of its lord, then his mother may suffer from health related problems.

12. Period of the Twelfth House
The twelfth house is the house of expenditure. On one hand, this house acknowledges the person’s donation, meditation, interest in religion and liberation. On the other hand, his luxuries, prosperity and facilities are considered through this house. The twelfth lord gives fruits according to the period or sub-period of planets, which aspect this house or are placed in this house.

During Mahadasha of the twelfth lord if any auspicious Yogakarak planet is in the sub-period, then he will reap happiness, luxury, prosperity and fame. And if any auspicious planet while going through transit influences this house, then it will make him benevolent. He will perform charity and his expenditures are related to generosity.
