Natural influence of Jaimini Karaks

Lord of any house and Karak are not same in Jaimini astrology. In Jaimini astrology astrologers give importance to the aspect and influence of house, lord and Karak. If any house forms a relationship with the house lord in its dasha or sub-period, then the person will get results according to the position of house and lord and the influence of Karak.

Suppose, if we want to know the results of the fourth house, consider its lord and moon, which is the Karak of this house. If Moon is placed in a benefic house from the fourth house, then results will be auspicious. If we consider Karak along with the lord of the house, then predictions will be good and influential. The fifth house is the house of child. For example: Aries is the Ascendant in the birth-chart of a person, then the fifth lord will be Sun, which is the lord of Leo but Jupiter is the Karak of the fifth house. If Sun and Saturn, both are strong, then the person will be blessed with more than one child.

Results of the Karak Planet

• 1. If malefic planet is in combination with the Karak planet, then the person may use his mind in wrong activities and he may be less hardworking.
• 2. If any malefic planet aspects the Karak planet then the person may face health related problems and he may become less religious.

Difference Between the Karak of Parashari astrology and Jaimini Astrology

All the planets play the role of different Karaks of different relationships, which are known as Natural Karaks. For example, Sun is the Karak planet of father, Moon of mother, Mars is the Karak planet of brother, Mercury is the Karak planet of business, Jupiter is of child, Venus is the Karak planet of husband and wife, Saturn is the Karak planet of age, Rahu is the Karak planet of maternal family and Ketu is the Karak planet of paternal family.
In addition, all the houses have Sthir Karak. For example, Jupiter is the Sthir Karak planet of the second house. Mars is the Karak planet of the third house. Venus and moon are the Karak planets of the fourth house and other planets are also Sthir Karaks of different houses.
In Jaimini method, firstly Karaks are determined for predictions, which are different in every Kundali. They are seven in number. Rahu is also included in this, therefore, eight Karaks are formed. Ketu is not included in this.

Karak Planets in Jaimini astrology are as follows:

1. Atamkarak Planet
Planet which shares maximum degrees among all the planets from Sun to Saturn will be known as AtamKarak planet. If degrees of planets are same then they are considered from minutes and seconds.
If AtamKarak is under malefic influence then the person may suffer from health related problems. If it is in auspicious influence then he will have good health.

2. Amatyakarak Planet
Planet which shares less degrees than AtamKarak planet will be the AmatyaKarak planet. If this planet is influenced by debilitated and malefic planets then the person may not get support from his workers.
If exalted planets are in bad position and influence AmatyaKarak planet, then the person may get difficulties from his seniors. Mercury is the natural AmatyaKarak planet.

3. Bhatrakarak Planet
Degrees of BhatraKarak planet are less than the degrees of AmatyaKarak planet and it is accorded the third place. Incidents related to siblings are considered through this planet. Mars is the natural planet of BhatraKarak.

4. Matrakarak Planet
MatraKarak is the planet which shares less degrees than BhatraKarak planet. Luxuries and comforts of the person’s life will be considered through this house. This Karak also determines property of the person. Moon is the natural planet of this house.

5. Putrakarak Planet
PutraKarak planet shares less degrees than MatraKarak planet. Happiness from child will be considered through this house.

6. Gyatikarak Planet
Planet which has less degrees than PutraKarak will be the GyatiKarak. Mars is the natural Karak of GyatiKarak(relatives).

7. Darakarak Planet
Apart from Rahu and Ketu, planet which has lowest degrees will be known as Darakark (life partner) planet. This planet is also known as Kaltra Karak. Venus is the natural planet of DaraKarak.
