Assessment of Married Life Through Stri Dirgha
All parents wish to give enjoyable and luxurious lives to their children. When their children reach the age of marriage, they get worried about their future and match horoscopes of the bride and groom to get the knowledge of their married life. Stri Dirgha is one of the methods of Bees Koota in south Indian astrology for marriage match making.
Devarshi Narad method is very famous in south Indian astrology. This method is also known as Stri Dirgha and Kanya Door. Under this method, count Nakshatras from the Nakshatra of the bride to the Nakshatra of the groom. There is a frequency of 9 Nakshatras. If Nakshatra of groom lies in the first 9 Nakshatras from the Nakshatra of bride, then conflicts may occur between husband and wife after marriage. If the Nakshatra of groom is placed in the next 9 Nakshatras, then they will live normal married life and if the Nakshatra of groom is placed in the third 9 from the Nakshatra of bride, then it will be the most auspicious situation for marriage.
If the Nakshatra of the groom lies on 14, 15, 16, 17 or 18 then they will have sweetness in the married life.
Astrologers say that distance between Nakshatras of bride and groom will be auspicious. If Nakshatras are close to each other then they may receive inauspicious results. In opposite case, under Nridur Dosha, when Nakshatras are counted from the Nakshatra of groom and if it is close to the Nakshatra of bride then it will be auspicious for marriage. If Nakshatras are placed at a big distance under Nirdur Dosha then situation will be inauspicious.
