Consideration of Marriage Through Prashna Kundali

People perform marriage Sanskara to form a new relationship between the husband and the wife. This Sanskara gives right to live together and to bring a new generation into the world. The seventh house is the house of marriage. As per principles of Vedic astrology if a male person wants to find out the details of his marriage then he should consider the seventh house and Venus which is the Karak planet of wife.

Similarly, when a girl wants to get details of her marriage through the Prashna Kundali then she should consider Jupiter which is the Karak planet of husband along with the seventh house.

According to Vedic astrology, when lord of the Ascendant and seventh; and Venus is strong in the birth-chart then the person will marry in the suitable age of marriage. Similarly, when in the birth-chart of a girl, lord of the Ascendant, seventh house and Jupiter is strong then she will get her desired partner.

To judge the possibilities of a love marriage from the Prashna Kundali, the fifth house should also be considered along with the seventh. If the fifth house or its lord forms an aspect relationship or is in conjunction with the Ascendant or its lord or with the seventh house or its lord then love marriage is possible. Some people marry twice and to judge this situation, the twelfth house should also be considered along with the seventh house in the birth-chart.

Consideration of other planets is also important to make accurate predictions about marriage. If any other planet is a friend of the lord of the house or the Ascendant lord then that planet will give its support in marriage. If a lord of the above mentioned houses is the enemy of another planet then problems may be created.

Obstacles in the marriage will occur in the following situations:

1. Placement of Sun
If Sun is placed in other signs instead to placed in its own sign in the fifth, seventh and twelfth house then there may be problems in the marriage.

2. Placement of Mars
Manglik dosha may occur if Mars is placed in the first, fourth, seventh, eighth and twelfth houses.

3. Placement of Saturn
Saturn is the Karak planet of sacrifice and if it forms a relationship with the above mentioned houses then it will be inauspicious for marriage.

4. Placement of Rahu
Rahu has the same effect as Saturn and it is also inauspicious for marriage if it is in a relationship with the said houses.

As a result, if the Ascendant or its lord and seventh house or its lord; and Jupiter and Venus are strong and are Yogakarak in the birth-chart then there are high possibilities for a smooth and timely marriage and if these planets, their lords and other planets are weak in the birth-chart then problems may occur in the marriage.
