Representations of Life Line based on Shape - The Line of Life
On the contrary to the popular belief, the line of life does not exactly show the exact age of an individual. This line merely depicts the natural term of the life of a person apart from accidental influences.
The line of life should be long, narrow and deep, without irregularities, break or crosses of any kind. Such a shape of this line promises long life, good health and immense vitality. Some other aspects of life are represented by the following shapes of the life line.
- When the line is broken or is made up of little pieces, it represents bad and irregular health and when this line gains smoothness and uniformity, health is also regained.
- When it is broken in the left hand and is smooth in the right hand, it represents some fatal illness but eventual recovery. But, if broken in both the hands then it represents death.
- When it is pale and wide, it represents bad instincts, a licentious character and an ill health.
- When it is chained at the point from where it begins below the mount of Jupiter, an acute illness in the childhood is forewarned.
- When there is a little space between this line and line of head, the person is flamboyant and is free to carry out his initiatives. It represents a high-energy level and an enthusiastic spirit. But, if the space is very wide, it signifies too much confidence and shows that the individual is impulsive and hasty.
- When it divides at centre of the palm and one branch moves towards the base of the mount of Luna, it represents a well-made hand, a restless life, fondness for travelling and a bewildered character for the ultimate satisfaction of his desire.
- When little hair-lines are found growing from the line of life, they tell of weakness and lack of vitality at the occasion when it is required.
- When the line of life divides towards the end and wide space is there between the lines, it indicates that the subject will end his life in a country different from that of his birth or there may be a great change from the place of the birth to the place of death.
- An island on the line of life represents illness or loss of health when the island is small, but a prominent island formed at the commencement of the line denotes some mystery connected with the subject’s death.
- Whenever a square is found on the line of life, it indicates preservation from death, from sudden illness and sudden death.
