Prediction of Voyages, Travel and Accidents - Lines of Journey

The lines of the hands also indicate the trips a person undertakes in his/her lifetime.

A lot of people have the same question which is if will ever travel abroad in life. Once this is answered they will have another set of questions such as: Will they benefit through trips? How will his journey be? How many trips will be made? etc. All these questions can be answered through careful analysis of the lines on the palm.

Travel indicators on the palm

As per Hast Rekha Shastra, trips are primarily analysed from the area on the Moon in the palm. Along with that lines that move upwards from Manibandh also indicate trips. Further lines originating from the lifeline also indicate travel.

If a deep prominent line starts from the Manibandha and goes towards the Mount of Mountain, then the journey is fortunate for the person. If the line originating from Manibandha goes towards the Mount of Jupiter, then the person may get opportunities to go for religious trips. If the line goes towards Mount of Saturn then one has to travel for some important reason. Another type of situation will be created along the fate line. If a line rises from the Mount of Moon and meets the fate line, then the journey leads to luck.

The heavy lines on the face of mount of Luna and the little hair-lines which leave the line of life and travel towards the mount of Moon are known as lines of journey. Sometimes, the short lines that join the line of fate and shoot downwards into the mount of Moon indicate profitable and intellectual foreign travels. It therefore follows that the journeys told by the change in the line of life are far more important than the lines on the mount of Luna which indicate minor change of place or small travels done by the subject.

The general representations of the shapes and positions of such lines are as follows :

  • When the line of journey ends with a small cross on the mount of Venus, it denotes that the journey of the subject will end in disappointment.
  • When this line ends in a square, it represents a danger in the journey. But, this danger will not cost the life of the subject.
  • When this line ends with an island, no matter how small the journey is, it will result in loss.
  • The ascendant lines rising from the bracelet towards the mount of Luna are considered most beneficial.
  • When such a line travels across the hand and enters the mount of Jupiter, great power and position will be gained by subject and the journey will also be extremely long.
  • When this line runs to the mount of Saturn, some kind of fatality will govern the entire journey.
  • When it reaches the mount of Mercury, sudden and unexpected wealth will arise from it.
  • When these lines enter the line of fate and ascend with it, these denote the materially benefiting journeys.
  • When the end of these horizontal lines inclines downward towards the wrist, the journey will be unfortunate.


    • Accidents

    The disasters like accidents can be seen more on the line of life and line and line of head than at any other point. Some dangers represented by the lines of journey and line of life are as follows :

  • When a line rises from the mount of Saturn and ends, falls downward and enters the line of life, it represents a small danger.
  • When such a line ends by a small cross either on the line of life or without it, it tells that subject will have a narrow escape from a serious accident.
  • When the same mark rises from the base of mount of Saturn, the accident will result from the animals more than from other causes.
  • Any straight line from the Saturn to the life-line means the danger of some kind or the other.
