Rigveda deals with Jyotisha in Indian Astrology. Entire procedure of calculation is based on Nakshatras. Besides Astrology, the Vedas, the Puranas, the Mahabharata etc. provide glimpses in order to emphasise the Nakshatras. The Zodiac or Kalachakra is composed of 27 Nakshatras. In this book the author has tried to explain the main theme of Nakshatras in detail.

The author has tried to elucidate this book from traditional standpoint, Krishnamurti vies, details of nakshatras, planets, effects on moon-sign sub-divisions, chief characteristics as per Vedic prognosis chapter-wise. Effort has been made to express nakshatra from multifarious corners to have basic and elaborate conception.
