The Wheel of Fortune Tarot Card
The title of The Fortune Tarot card is, ‘The Lord of the forces of life’. The image seen on the card is that of a wheel of six shafts, whereon revolve the Triad of Hermanubis, Sphinx and Typhon. The wheel is believed to be on the pillar of mercy. Here, it forms the principal column from victory to mercy. It is the revolution of experience and progress, the steps of the Zodiac, the revolving staircase, held in place by the counter changing influence of Light and Darkness. The colours related with The Fortune Tarot card are blue, violet, deep purple and bluish yellow. But the zodiacal spokes of the wheel should be in the colours of the spectrum, while the Ape is in those of Malkuth, and the Sphinx in the primary colours and black.
The Fortune Tarot card can be related to good fortune happiness. Sometimes, it can also be related to intoxication with success. That is, if the cards near it bear this out. Generally there is movement and transformation, but you have to look at the cards around it to see where the change is coming from or going to. This card generally means good fortune because the fact of consultation implies anxiety or discontent. The Fortune Tarot card denotes the authorities to which the person is subject, but also his own actions, deeds, manifestations and the position in the world which he occupies, his name and titles. It is the card of karma in the strict sense and that which is indicated by it in divination will come true or be realised actually. Thus, this card denoted fortune.
