Types of Rudraksha - Different Kinds of Rudraksha Beads - All Types of Rudraksha
Rudraksha is classified on the basis of the stripes on the uni-seed of it. Rudraksha is available from one to twenty-seven faces, each with different uses and significance.
One Mukhi Rudraksha
It is represents Lord Shiva and is also blessed by Lord Aditya. The one who holds it attains peace, happiness and salvation.
Two Mukhi Rudraksha
It is a symbol of Ardhnarishwara, i.e, a joint image of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. It represents the Moon.
Three Mukhi Rudraksha
It is a symbol of Agni Deva and represents trinity Gods, i.e, Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh (Shiva). Teen Mukhi Rudraksha gives relief to a person from the sins like killing of women.
Four Mukhi Rudraksha
It is represents Lord Brahma and Goddess Saraswati. It helps in increasing the person’s intellectuality and his logical thinking.
Five Mukhi Rudraksha
It is represents Kalagni, a form of Lord Shiva. It symbolizes the five elements (panch tatva). It gives relief from sins like adultery and gives a pleasurable life.
Six Mukhi Rudraksha
It is represents Lord Kartikeya. It is also known as Shatrunjaya Rudraksha. It gives relief from sins like killing of a priest. The person who holds it is blessed with children.
Seven Mukhi Rudraksha
It is represents seven goddesses and “Saptrishis” or seven sages. Since it carries the blessing of Goddess Lakshami, it helps to remove poverty.
Eight Mukhi Rudraksha
It is represents Lord Ganesha and eight Goddesses, i.e, “ashtadeviya”.
It pacifies all the ill-effects and helps the person to attain salvation.
Nine Mukhi Rudraksha
It is represents the nine forms of Goddess Durga, i.e, “Nau Shakti”. It is also considered as the second form of Bhairav. If a person wears it on the right arm, he gets relief from the sins like abortion. It is also considered as another form of Lord Yamraj. It pacifies the ill-effects of Ketu.
Ten Mukhi Rudraksha
It is represents Lord Vishnu. It provides peace and beauty. The person gets relief from all kinds of fears in life
Eleven Mukhi Rudraksha
It is a form of Rudra, i.e, Lord Shiva himself. It resembles Ek Mukhi Rudraksha. It represents the eleven forms of Rudra and symbolizes the eleventh incarnation of Lord Shiva, Lord Hanuman. The fruits obtained after performing thousands of Ashwamedha Yagya and Vajpeya Yagya are attained immediately by wearing Gyarah Mukhi Rudraksha.
Twelve Mukhi Rudraksha
It is represents Lord Vishnu. It is also known as Aditya Rudraksha since it provides the blessings of twelve Aditya gods. It provides lustre, radiance and strength to the person and gives freedom from the sins like killing of a cow, human etc.
Thirteen Mukhi Rudraksha
It is represents Lord Indra. It blesses the person with all kinds of worldly pleasures and happiness.
Fourteen Mukhi Rudraksha

It is a symbol of Lord Krishna and Sita. It also represents Lord Vishwakarma, the builder of this world. The person is blessed with ownership of land and gets fortunate.

Nineteen Mukhi Rudraksha
