Method To Calculate Shodhya Pinda
According to the principles of Ashtakavarga, after analyzing the trikon shodhana, ekadhipatya shodhanas and mandal shodhana for every planet in its bhinashtak, their shodhya pinda are also counted. We have already talked about the principles of calculating shodhya pinda in our last post. In order to calculate the shodhya pinda of a planet, the rashi gunakar and the bindus of the houses in which the planet is situated are taken into consideration.
In sarvashtakavarga, after calculating all the three shodhanas, the bindu count of the planets are multiplied by the rashi gunakar and planet gunakar to get the result for shodhya pinda. Here we are discussing the method to calculate shodhya pind.
Rashi Gunakar
Each sign/rashi has been assigned with specific gunakar. This gunakar is known as rashi gunakar. These counts do not change under any circumstance.
Sign/Rashi | Gunakar |
---|---|
Aries | 7X6=42 |
Taurus | 10 X 0 = 0 |
Gemini | 8 X 4 = 32 |
Cancer | 4 X 8 = 32 |
Leo | 10 X 0 = 0 |
Virgo | 5 X 4 = 20 |
Libra | 7 X 5 = 35 |
Scorpio | 8 X 0 = 0 |
Sagittarius | 9 X 8 = 72 |
Capricorn | 5 X 2 = 10 |
Aquarius | 11 X 0 = 0 |
Pisces | 12 X 0 = 0 |
Total | 243 |
Planet Gunakar
Similarly, planet have their own set of gunakar. These counts are also unchangeable and remain same under every situation.
Planet | Gunakar |
---|---|
Sun | 5 X 0 = 0 |
Moon | 5 X 2 = 10 |
Mars | 8 X 0 = 0 |
Mercury | 5 X 0 = 0 |
Jupiter | 10 X 0 = 0 |
Venus | 7 X 8 = 56 |
Saturn | 5 X 8 = 40 |
Total | 106 |
We will attain Shodhya Pinda by combining the results of Rashi Bal and Grah Bal, which is as follows:
Total Rashi Bal = 246
Shodhya Pind= 349
