Determination of a Mook Prashna

These days a good and wise astrologer is the one which identifies the trouble of the questioner before the questioner speaks. This method is known as a Mook Prashna. The easiest way to determine a Mook Prashna is to analyse the strength of an ascendant and the strength of the  lord of an ascendant. Determine the house of the planet whichever is strong among these two. Note the number of houses from that planet till Moon and determine the house ahead of that number of houses. The individual may ask the question related to that house.

For instance, if an ascendant is stronger than the lord of ascendant and the moon is present in fourth house from ascendant, then we will count four houses ahead of the fourth house. The seventh house comes four houses ahead. This means that questioner has a question related to his marriage in his mind. If the questioner is married, then the question may be related to his or her spouse. If the native is a businessman, then the question may be related to his or her business.

If the ascendant and the lord of ascendant are both presents in a weak state and the Moon is strong, then note down the number of houses from the house of the Moon to the house of the lord of ascendant. Then count the same number of houses ahead of that house. The questioner may have the query related to the house we thus get. If Moon is also weak in the Prashna Kundali, then find out the strongest planet of the Prashna Kundali. Here, the question will be related to the house in which the planet is present.

In a Prashna Kundali, various houses are used to analyse questions. Here, the analysis of questions is done according to the houses.
