People throw colors, Abir-Gulal etc. on each other, and songs are sung by playing drums. Everyone goes from house to house applying colors on each other. Rang Panchami falls on the fifth day of Holi

Rang Panchami festival is very deeply associated with Holi. Like Holi, Rangpanchagi too is celebrated by applying colour on each other. The festival of Rang Panchami is celebrated on the fifth day of Holi. On this day people worship Lord Krishna and Radha ji. Puja is performed by applying Gulal and Abir on Radha and Krishna.

Dhuli Vandan implies the beginning of various incarnations by the Lord in the Treta Yuga. The festival of Rang Panchami, which takes place in different parts of the country, is associated with folk traditions that exist to date. Cultural programs are organized on this day. People play Rang Panchami. We worship God. Colorful trips are organized. Many colors are sprayed on this journey. The entire route is filled with colors.

In some places, the celebration of playing with colours starts in Dhulendi which is right after Holi Dahan and goes on till Rangpanchami. Holi ends when Rangpanchami ends.

Rang Panchami Puja Procedure

Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva are worshiped on Rang Panchami. On this day, Snan is done in the holy rivers. Pure and clean clothes are worn after bathing. The idol of Gods to be worshipped should be placed in the temple. After this, a lamp of ghee or oil should be lit. Incense, fragrance, vermilion, sandalwood, Abir etc. should be offered to God. After offering all these things, one should duly worship and offer prayers. After this, one should apply colour to God. The entire family should then celebrate this festival.
