During this period one can see the beautiful side of nature which is mesmerising. This period can be addressed as Ruturaj too as the beauty of nature comes to the fore during this time. This date has a lot of importance from a religious as well as historical perspective. From a religious perspective knowledge, learning, skill, art, music, health and happiness are worshipped on this day. On this day Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva, Goddess Lakshmi, Ganesha are all worshiped. Matsya Jayanti -

On this day Matsya Avatar is worshiped, it is said that on this day, Lord Vishnu took the Matsya Avatar to protect the Vedas and save the world during the Pralay.

Tripurotsav -

Lord Shiva is worshiped in the form of Tripurantaka/Tripurai. Lord Shiva killed Mahabhayanaka Asura named Tripurasura and freed all the Devas.

Kritikas worship -

Worshipping Kritikas brings happiness in life. Worshipping Nakshatras leads to its peace. Siva, Sambhuti, Santi, Priti, Anusuya and Kshama, worshipping these six Kritikas eliminates all sufferings.

Sri Radha Krishna Pujan -

Lord Shri Krishna and Radha ji are also worshiped on this day. Tulsi Puja should be done in which the idol of Radha and Shri Krishna should be worshipped under an Amla tree.

Maharas Parva -

This day is also known as Raas Parva. Radha Utsav and Rasamandal are organized.

Guru Nanak Jayanti -

Guru Nanak Jayanti is also celebrated on this day. In the Sikh community, this day is celebrated as Prakashotsav. Guru Nanak Dev was born on this day, so Guru Parv holds great importance for the followers of the Sikh community.
