Perform Shakti Puja on Maha Navami
Every day of the calendar has its own importance with regards to Maa Durga Puja. Amongst all the days, Navratri is most important. Navratri refers to the nine days in which nine different Avatars of the Goddess are worshipped. The devotee gets a new direction of spiritual well being by worshipping Maa Durga on each of these nine days. On the ninth day of Navratri, the Siddhi Datri Avatar of the Goddess is worshipped. This Avatar ensures the welfare of the world. It is also a form of supreme power.
The ninth Avatar of Goddess Durga is called Siddhi Datri. As indicated by the name the Goddess blesses the world with welfare. On this day one must carry out the Puja with complete commitment and must follow all the rituals properly. It is only then will one be blessed by the Goddess. The devotee will be able to solve all the mysteries of the world. The devotee will be able to fight back hindrances and problems. The devotee is able to complete every task at hand.
In Markandeya Purana, eight Siddhis have been mentioned. They are - Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakamya, Ishitva, and Vashitva. Apart from this, in some scriptures like Brahma Vaivarta Purana, they are more in number.
Siddhi Datri Mantra
Recitation of Mantra plays a very important role in the worship of Goddess Siddhi Datri. The Mantra brings the devotee closer to the energy that he/she has been searching for the 9 days of Navratri. The Mantra should be recited as much as possible. It is as follows -
Ya Devi Sarvabhuteshu Maa Siddhi Datri Rupen Sansthita.
Namastasyai Namastasyai Namastasyai Namo Namah.

The arrival of Goddess Siddhi Datri results in auspiciousness and happiness from all the directions for the devotee. One attains all kinds of Siddhi on worshipping this Goddess. If we study the Devi Purana, then we will learn that Lord Shiva achieved all of his powers on account of Goddess Siddhi Datri. To conclude, one who is able to impress the Goddess becomes capable of unlocking the mysteries of nature.
Avatar of Goddess Siddhi Datri
Goddess Siddhi Datri has four hands and rides a lion. She blesses the devotees to be fearless. The Goddess likes lotus flowers, in fact, the lotus flower forms her throne. She even has it in her hands. If lotus flowers are regularly used in her Puja, then such a devotee is blessed by Goddess Siddhi Datri. The Avatar of the Goddess is benign and has four hands in which she holds Chakra, Gada, Shankh and lotus flower. On being happy, the Goddess blesses the entire world with Riddhi Siddhi.
The sadness in a person's life disappears when he/she is blessed by Goddess Siddhi Datri. The devotee enjoys the happiness of every form. Worshipping Goddess Siddhi Datri leads to the fulfillment of all the wishes one has.
In order to be blessed by Goddess Siddhi Datri, one must worship Goddess Siddhi Datri with full devotion and follow all the rituals. A devotee gets peace on worshipping, meditating and conducting Puja of the Goddess. The devotee should perform Jap, Taap, and Puja according to their capability. A clean and pure heart is what the Goddess seeks more than anything else.
How to perform Puja on Maha Navami?
A clean environment is very im[portant for Puja of the Goddess Siddhi Datri on Maha Navami. The devotee attains salvation by worshipping her and reciting her Mantras. On the day of Navmi, the devotee should take a bath early in the morning, wear clean clothes, finish all chores and then commence the Puja. The following items should be used in the Puja - lotus flower, rose flower, Akshat, Sindoor, Dhoop-Deep, fragrance, fruits, dry fruits, etc.
Different types of sweets and Til Ladoos should be presented as Bhog to the Goddess. Sesame seeds are also used in the Puja. Havan is also organised in the Puja and Mantras are recited 108 times.
Perform Siddhi Datri Puja to achieve Siddhis
Siddhiyan means an increase in the intellectual level of a person. The devotee gets internal strength and power. These powers and strengths can be achieved only by regularly worshipping the Goddess. Many Siddhis are mentioned in scriptures. Out of those the following eighth are the most famous:
Anima Siddhi -
A person’s body can be made very small using this Siddhi. The devotee gets the power to reduce the size of an object to as small as a molecule, hence this Siddhi is called Anima.
Mahima Siddhi -
Opposite to Anima Siddhi, in this Siddhi one can enlarge a person’s body. Anything which is huge in size is Mahima.
Garima Siddhi -
This Siddhi gives the devotee the power to make the body heavy.
Laghima -
In this Siddhi, the body becomes so light that it cannot experience any weight.
Prapti Siddhi -
In this Siddhi, the person gets the power to reach any place without any obstructions.
Prakamya Siddhi -
In this Siddhi, the person can fulfill any wish. They can achieve whatever, they want. The devotee also gets the power to control any individual.
Ishatva Siddhi -
In this Siddhi, the devotee gets the power to control any object.
Vasitva Siddhi -
In this Siddhi, the devotee gets the power to keep any person near him/her. They can control anyone and can get work done according to them.
