Relationship between Humans and God
According to Indian Vedas and scriptures, humans and God are considered to be associated very closely. It is believed that even after acquiring Param Brahma, a person is unable to understand everything about God. A person can only be close to God when he or she sacrifices all material desires and is totally devoted and dedicated about the Lord.
Lord Brahma’s knowledge
In order to acquire Lord Brahma’s knowledge, a person should be able to sacrifice all material desires. Lord created desire and through his blessings and devoting yourself to him, you can sacrifice it. A person is able to understand his soul through yoga. He is still unable to understand Lord Brahma till he sacrifices desire and pride.
Usually a person thinks about indestructible, omnipresent desires which have been created by God. But, he is unable to understand the Lord who created them. Such a person is unable to meet the Lord and completely understand him.
In the beginning, darkness prevailed everywhere. Lord Brahma created light and life came into existence. Desire was also created which swept everyone’s minds. Desire is known as maya and it has been talked about in various upanishads, vedas and other scriptures.
Vedas
All different scriptures have talked about God in different ways. Some call him indestructible while others call him little and magnificent. Everything description has been associated with Lord Brahma. Lord has been said to create the whole Universe. He is believed to nurture it, develop it and make sure that everything exists in a defined order.
Like tributaries of a river merge to form a big river, in the same way, everything is associated with the Lord. The Lord comprises of everything and acts as a life source for everyone. Like a bubble mixes itself with water, everything in this world is mixed with the Lord. Lord gives us life and he is also the one who takes it in the end. He is the beginning of everything as well as its end.
Maya has been talked about in various Vedas and Upanishads. It is believed that a person can understand the Lord and acquire knowledge about him only when he sacrifices maya and material desires. Such a person is able to attain salvation.
