Aryabhatt is believed to have been born in 467 E. His work has been named as Aryabhattiya in which he has described the stationary position of the sun and stars. He has also talked about the speed of the earth which results into days and nights. He has also described various occurrences like the solar and lunar eclipse in a scientific way.

Aryabhatt has used hindi alphabets instead of numbers in his works. According to some people, it is believed that he derived a vital part of his work from Greek mythology. He was also a great mathematician. He has described cubes and divisions and their applications in his work as well.

His work has 60 chapters. There are around 9 thousand shlokas in his work. He has talked about a person’s character, environment, lifestyle etc according to astrology. Results have been derived on the basis of different body parts.

Aryabhatt was capable of solving a person’s problems with the help of different body parts. The present day Shakun shastra is influenced by the same.
