Ganesha Chaturthi is also celebrated in Magha month. During this time Ganesha Chaturthi is called by the name of ‘Sankashtha Chaturthi’. By observing fast on this day, all the present problems of the native are solved. On this day, after having early morning bath, Ganesha puja is done & fast is observed on the whole day. After that, in the evening, water is offered to the Moon & after that Ganesha puja is done, after which the fast is said to be complete.
