Characteristics of different ascendants-II

In the last chapter we studied about the ascendants in Aries, Taurus, Gemini, and Cancer. In this chapter we will study about the remaining signs in ascendants.

Leo Lagna

Mars , Jupiter and Sun are benefic for this lagna.Saturn and Moon are malefic in this ascendant. Saturn is Shashtesha and enemy of Lagnesha Sun. Due to this , they are malefic.The Mooltrikon sign of mercury is in second house, and the second house is a Maraka House. The second sign of Mercury , Gemini lies in eleventh house.This bhava is also not among beneficial bhava’s. Mercury has the ownership of both malefic houses. The Mooltrikon sign of Venus also goes in third house and Taurus in tenth house.Due to which Venus gets Kendradhipati Dosha, and is not able to give good results.

Virgo Lagna

Mercury and Venus are benefic planets in the Virgo ascendant.Venus being Dwityesha also becomes Marak Planet.Mars, Jupiter and Moon are malefic in this ascendant. Saturn is the panchamesha, and lagnesha being a friend of Mercury is able to give good results.But because Mercury is Shashtesh here ,can be the reason of poor health.

Libra Lagna

Venus is the Lagnesh of Libra ascendant and Mercury being Navmesh gives good results. Mars being Dwitiyesha and Saptmesh is a Marak Planet. Sun being the lord of Ekadash becomes Badhkesha. Jupiter being the lord of third and sixth house gives bad results. Jupiter Lagnesh is an enemy of Venus, and is a malefic planet.

Scorpio Lagna

Jupiter being Panchmesha and Moon being Navmesha are benefic.Venus, Mercury and Saturn are malefic in ascendant. Venus being the lord of Saptmesha and Dwadash in this ascendant in Markesh. Mecury , Ashtamesha and Ekadshesh ansd Saturn is the lord of third house.Thus, these two are also malefic. Mars in this ascendant gives medium level good results, as Mars here is both Lagnesh and Shashtayesha. The Mooltrikon sign of aries lies in the sixth house.Thus, Mars lacks to give good results.
