Remedies for having auspicious results of Sun

If a planet is giving inauspicious results during transit or if it is weak, remedies associated with the planet can help turning inauspicious results into auspicious ones. Sun is the karak planet for immense power and father. Hence, if Sun is giving inauspicious results in a kundali, remedies should be carried out to strengthen Sun’s position. Usually, these remedies are carried out when Sun does not give auspicious results during a transit. Besides this, remedies are also carried out when Sun is aspecting and weakening the Lords of the sixth or seventh house during a transit.

You may donate things associated with Sun if it is debilitated or weak in a Kundali. According to shastra, donations benefit a person only if they are made during auspicious times. Things associated with Sun should be donated on a Sunday afternoon. You can even keep a fast on Sundays. You should feed a cow with jaggery and wheat. Sun’s inauspicious effects are also reduced if you feed a Brahmana or a poor person with Kheer made of jaggery.

Donating jaggery, gold, copper and wheat is considered to be auspicious for strengthening Sun. You may also donate a gemstone associated with Sun. You should serve your father or other elders if Sun is weak in your Kundali. Waking up early and doing Surya Namaskar is also beneficial.

Besides donating things, remedies also include chanting mantras and taking baths with things associated with Sun. You can use any one of the mentioned remedies to get relief from your problems. These remedies are beneficial in reducing the inauspicious effects of Sun during a transit.

Remedies related to baths and donations

If Sun is giving inauspicious results during transit, a person should mix red flowers or saffron in the water which he uses to take a bath. Sun is the karak planet for red flowers and saffron. Sun’s remedies not only reduce inauspicious results, but also make sure that the person is immune to many disease. A person carrying out these remedies stays healthy and strong. Taking a bath with all the things associated with Sun helps a person to feel fresh and healthy, as the qualities of these things enter a person’s body when he takes a bath.

Besides taking a bath with these things, a person should also donate these things. These include copper, jaggery, wheat, masur dal etc. Donations should be made on Sunday or Surya Sankranti. These things should also be donated on the day of a solar eclipse.

You may even donate all these things together. You may weigh these things depending on your limitations and financial constraints. If a person buys these things through his savings, it is even more beneficial.

Sun’s Mantra

Sun’s mantras can also be chanted as part of remedies. You may chant ‘Om Ghrini Surya Aditya’. This mantra can be chanted everyday, but chanting this mantra on Sundays is extremely beneficial. You may also carry out havans, yagyas etc.
