Consideration of Yoni Koota

yoni-kutaWe all human beings are related to different Yonis . Here we will discuss Yoni of Nakshatra.  According to Vedic astrology, Yonis are related to different Nakshatras.

There are five types of relationships between Yoni and nakshatras:

  • 1. Swavarga,
  • 2. Friend,
  • 3. Neutral,
  • 4. Opposite,
  • 5. Enemy

According to astrology, whether the Yoni of the nakshatras of bride and groom is same or different, it is considered auspicious for marriage. If the Nakshatras of bride and groom lie in the neutral yoni then they will not face any conflicts in their married life. If their Nakshatras are placed in the Opposite Yoni then they may face conflicts in their married life. If their Nakshatras are placed in the enemy Yoni then they should not marry each other, because this relationship may create problems in the married life.

Maharishi Atri says, Yoni of the Nakshatras of bride and groom should be same for successful married life. If Yonis of their Nakshatras are different then their married life will be normal. That means they will have sweetness along with conflicts in their married life. If Yonis of their Nkashatra are opposite then some distances may occur between them.

Let us see some examples which are considered for marriage. If the Nakshatra of bride is placed in the yoni of peacock or elephant and the nakshatra of groom is placed in the Yoni of lion, Mongoose, eagle, snake, dog, monkey or sheep then they will have an enmity relationship and they should not marry each other in this yoni.

Calculation of the Nakshatra of Yoni of the couple

  • 1. When Nakshatras of both are in the same Yoni then result will be 4.
  • 2. If their Nakshatras are placed in the friends Yoni then result will be 3.
  • 3. If their Nakshatras are placed in the neutral Yoni then result will be 2.
  • 4. If their Nakshatras are laid in the opposite Yoni then result will be 1.
  • 5. If their Nakshatras are laid in the enemy Yoni then result will be 0

The malefic influence of Yonikoota will be not effective if

  • 1. Lords of the signs are friends
  • 2. They are of the same sign.
  • 3. Lords of their Navmansh are friends.
  • 4. Bhakoot is pure in the birth-chart.
  • 5. Vashya is pure in the birth-chart.
