Moola Nakshatra is the 19th Nakshatra out of the total 27 Nakshatras.This Nakshatra extends from 0 Ansh in Sagittarius to 13 Ansh 20 minutes. The Ruling Lord is Ketu and Moola means root. Since the native is born in this Nakshatra he or she has more effect of ‘Gan’ on it. In this case it is necessary for the native to perform Gandamool Shanti Puja.
