What is Palm Reading

Palmistry is the science of telling the fortune by reading hands. Some people say it was born in Greece, but others claim that it was born in India. Sage Valmiki wrote a book on palmistry which had 567 paragraphs. Even Cheiro the most popular palmist in the world said that he learnt this art in India.

Let us discuss the importance of palm reading now. The practice of palm reading is not limited to any culture, region or religion. It is also known as Cheiromancy, palm reading or Samudrik Shastra.

Palm reading includes the study of lines, mounts, crosses, stars, sections and crescents in a hand. These signs tell us about the future of an individual by the study of auspicious and inauspicious marks formed on them. Hence, a good palmist should study all the features on both the hands before making a prediction.
