Dashmansha Kundali and Dwadashansha Kundali

Dashmansha Kundali or D-10

This Kundali is studied to analyze the success and failures in a business. The Kundali is used to analyze things like how well the business of an individual will go, whether that person will continue that profession for a long period of time or will he change the profession frequently etc.

Many times the house of profession i.e the tenth house in a birth chart looks favourable but still the stability in a person’s profession is less. For this, the tenth house is divided into 12 parts and the analysis of this house is done in a Dashmansha Kundali. If the indications of trouble are present in a Dashmansha Kundali, then the individual may face troubles in his or her profession.

To prepare a Dashmansha Kundali, 30 degrees is divided into 10 equal parts. Each part is of 3 degrees. There are 10 Dashmansha of 3 degrees. The divison of a Dashmansha Kundali is as follows:

  1. The first Dashmansha is from 0 to 3 degrees.
  2. The second Dashmansha is from 3 to 6 degrees.
  3. The third Dashmansha is from 6 to 9 degrees.
  4. The fourth Dashmansha is from 9 to 12 degrees.
  5. The fifth Dashmansha is from 12 to 15 degrees.
  6. The sixth Dashmansha is from 15 to 18 degrees.
  7. The seventh Dashmansha is from 18 to 21 degrees.
  8. The eighth Dashmansha is from 21 to 24 degrees.
  9. The ninth Dashmansha is from 24 to 27 degrees.
  10. The tenth Dashmansha is from 27 to 30 degrees.

After knowing the method of dividing 30 degrees into 10 equal parts in a Dashmansha Kundali, let us now understand the method of placing the planets in a Dashmansha Kundali. If a planet is present in an odd sign in a birth chart, then the planet will be counted from its original position. If a planet is present in an even sign in a birth chart, then it will be counted from the ninth sign from its original position. For example, if a planet is present in an even sign at 22 degrees. It means that the planet is present in the eight Dashmansha. Now, note down the ninth sign from Taurus sign in a birth chart. The ninth sign from Taurus sign in a birth chart is Capricorn. Hence, the counting of the planets will be done from Capricorn. The eight Dashmansha from Capricorn is of Leo sign.

This means that the planet which is present is Taurus sign in the birth chart will be placed in Leo sign in Dashmansha Kundali.

Dwadashansha Kundali or D-12

This Kundali tells about the parents of an individual. All the aspects of the life of parents of an individual can be determined by studying this Kundali. To prepare this Kundali, 30 degrees are divided into 12 equal parts. Each part is of 2 degree 30 minutes. The method of dividing thirty degrees into 12 equal parts are as follows:

  1. The first Dwadashansha is from 0 to 2 degrees 30 minutes.
  2. The second Dwadashansha is from 2 degrees 30 minutes to 5 degrees.
  3. The third Dwadashansha is from 5 degrees to 7 degrees 30 minutes.
  4. The fourth Dwadashansha is from 7 degrees 30 minutes to 10 degrees.
  5. The fifth Dwadashansha is from 10 degrees to 12 degrees 30 minutes.
  6. The sixth Dwadashansha is from 12 degrees 30 minutes to 15 degrees.
  7. The seventh Dwadashansha is from 15 degrees to 17 degrees 30 minutes.
  8. The eighth Dwadashansha is from 17 degrees 30 minutes to 20 degrees.
  9. The ninth Dwadashansha is from 20 degrees to 22 degrees 30 minutes.
  10. The tenth Dwadashansha is from 22 degrees 30 minutes to 25 degrees.
  11. The eleventh Dwadashansha is from 25 degrees to 27 degrees 30 minutes.
  12. The twelfth Dwadashansha is from 27 degrees 30 minutes to 30 degrees.

To prepare a Dwadashansha Kundali the planet is counted from the sign in which it is present currently. For example, If Mars is present in Sagittarius sign in a birth chart at 21 degrees which means that Mars is present in 12 Dwadashansha, then it will be placed in the tenth sign from Sagittarius. The tenth sign from Sagittarius is Virgo. Hence, Mars will be placed in Virgo sign in a a Dwadashansha Kundali.

The ascendant of a Dwadashansha Kundali is also determined like this. Note down the position of an ascendant in the Dwadashansha of a Janama Kundali. Then, count the same number of houses from the ascendant in the Janam Kundali. Let us imagine that the ascendant of the Janam Kundali is Leo and is present at 12 degrees which means that it lies in fifth Dwadashansha. Let us now see, that which sign is the fifth sign from Leo. The fifth sign from Leo is Capricorn. In this way, the ascendant of Dwadhansha Kundali will contain Capricorn. All other planets will also be placed like this.
