Kalsarp dosha is an inauspicious dosha which is created according to the position of Rahu and Ketu in the birth chart. Rahu and Ketu are basically two imaginary points of Moon which are accorded the position of planets. These two points are not less than other seven planets anyhow.
Rahu has the second longest Mahadasha period after Saturn in the birth chart. It is believed that Rahu and Ketu are malefic in the birth chart when the person has performed bad deeds in his last birth. The reason for the Kalsarp dosha in the birth chart could also be the bad deeds of the person during his last birth like disrespecting his father or father’s defamation. It could also be performing improper rituals during father’s funeral. The person should not cause harm to animals or kill snake this could also be the reason for the presence of Kalsarp dosha in the birth chart.
What is Vasuki Kaal Sarp Dosh
There are 12 types of Kalsarp Dosha in the Astrology. Vasuki Kaal Sarp Dosh is one of them which has often been discussed in the spiritual texts. This yoga is known as the king of Snakes. Lord Krishna addressing Arjun in the text of Bhagvatgeeta claimed himself as Vasuki Nagraaj. The name of Lord Krishna has also been mentioned in the text of Sagar Manthan according to which lord krishna played the role of rope in the churning of the ocean which help accomplished this task of churning the ocean.
According to Astrology Kalsarp dosha of Vasuki created in the birth chart when Rahu is in the house of courage or brother i.e. third house and Ketu in the house of father or fortune i.e. ninth house. During this position of these two planets when the other seven planets form a circle around Rahu/Ketu then Vasuki Kaal Sarp Dosh is created in the birth chart.
Effects of Vasuki Kaal Sarp Dosh
During this Kalsarp Dosha the position of Rahu/ketu is in the third and ninth house respectively. Therefore during this Dosha the auspicious results of both these houses are affected. Due to this yoga the person may not get the support of his luck due to which he may face a lot of problems in matters related to livelihood. If the person is into partnership business he may bear loss in it. Due to the inauspicious influence of this Dosha the person may have to struggle a lot in the different areas of life. He may feel disturbed which may increase his problems rather than decreasing it.
The economic problems of the person may get increased. Due to this Dosha the person may have to bear problems because of his siblings or relatives and may not get their desired support. His friends may try to take your undue advantage if you trust them blindly. He is advised to avoid traveling during the Mahadasha of Rahu/Ketu otherwise he may bear loss.

Keep fast on Naagpanchami and worship Naag Dev to get a relief from this Dosha. Worshiping Lord Krishna may also help reduce the malefic effects of this Dosha. Perform or ask an expert to pray for the peace of Vasuki Kaal Sarp Dosh. While chanting the Mantras of Rahu and Ketu offer cluster beans and millet it will be favorable for you.
