Abhijeet Muhurtha is a very auspicious Muhurtha. According to Vedic astrology you can perform all types of works in Abhijeet Muhurtha. Abhijeet Muhurta is capable to ward off all the evil effects and turn unfavorable circumstances into your favor. The planetary positions, Ascendant, placement of Moon in panchang and different auspicious yogas increase the auspicious influence of Abhijeet Muhurtha. This Muhurtha occurs once in a day for approximately 48 minutes. This Muhurtha is auspicious to perform the events of Vijay dashmi, Ravi Yoga, Sade teen Muhurtha, to start a new work, Muhurtha of Amrit ghati and also to finish all the important works of our daily life.

Method to assess Abhijeet Muhurta

Abhijeet Muhurtha does not occur on any specific day, it occurs everyday for approximately 48 minutes. It is assessed on the basis of its place, 24 mins before and 24 minutes after 12 noon and mid-night. A change in place leads to a change in the time of this Muhurtha.

Abhijeet Muhurat is equally auspicious in the mid-night and during the day. The Muhurtha assessed during the night is known as Brahma Muhurtha. This Muhurtha is auspicious to perform all kinds of important works. Abhijeet Muhurat is very strong and auspicious. It evades evil effects and turns all unfavorable circumstances and results in your favor.

It is also said that Lord Shiva killed strong and savage Tripurasur and Lord Vishnu canceled all the inauspicious and evil effects with his Sudershan chakra in consideration of Abhijeet Muhurtha.

Some Exceptions

However, this Muhurtha is not favorable for marriage or other auspicious events on Wednesday. Some astrologers say that 4 minutes before and after 12 noon and mid-night are not auspicious and people should avoid performing any auspicious work during this time.
