Different Yogas in a Kundali

A Janma Kundali contains all the secrets of a person’s life. Analyzing a kundali may tell about the past, present and future of a person. A Kundali comprises of a lot of different yogas. Some are auspicious while others are inauspicious. Analyzing a person’s kundali may tell us if the yogas in his kundali would give auspicious or inauspicious results.

Planets and yogas are analyzed in astrology to determine the results that a person would get throughout his life. Some planets and Yogas are considered to be inauspicious which lead to problems and obstacles in a person’s life. Other are considered to be auspicious which give fruitful results. Mahalaxmi yoga, Nripa yoga etc. are some very auspicious yogas.

Mahalaxmi yoga provides a person with wealth and fame. This yoga is formed when the Lord of the house of wealth (second house), i.e, Jupiter is in the eleventh house and aspects the second house. This yoga is believed to provide a person with a lot of wealth. Saraswati yoga is another similar yoga.

Saraswati Yoga is formed when Venus, Jupiter and Mercury are in the Kendra house and in association with each other. An association is formed due to transit or aspect. A person born in this yoga is always blessed by the goddess of education, i.e, goddess Saraswati. People with this yoga achieve success in fields related to art, music, writing and education. They also earn a lot of wealth.

A person with Nripa yoga in his kundali lives his life like a king. This yoga is formed when more than three planets are exalted in a Kundali.

In the same way, there are also inauspicious Yogas in a kundali. Vish yoga is an inauspicious yoga. This yoga is formed due to the position of Saturn and Moon. An inauspicious Vish yoga is formed due to the association of Saturn and Moon. This yoga is formed when Moon is in ascendant and under the influence of Saturn’s third, seventh and tenth aspect. In the same way, Vish yoga is also formed when Saturn is in Pushya Nakshatra in Cancer sign and Moon is in Shravan Nakshatra in Capricorn sign. A parivartana yoga should be formed between the two planets or the two planets should be in opposite states and aspecting each other.

A person has to bear the effects of Vish yoga if Rahu is in the eighth house and Saturn, Aries, Cancer, Leo or Scorpio are in ascendant. A person with this yoga may face a lot of health problems. He may even have to face a lot of obstacles in his family life. Such a person has a suspicious nature.

Kemdrum Yoga is an important yoga in astrology which is formed on the basis of Moon. This yoga is formed when the houses adjacent to Moon are vacant. In other words, there are no planets in the second and twelfth house from the Moon. In astrology, Moon is believed to be the karak planet of mind. It is usually seen that a person may be sometimes restless due to inactivity. He may think about a lot of unnecessary and negative things. Kemdrum Yoga also provides results.

Shraapit yoga is another inauspicious yoga. It is also known as Shraapit Dosha. Shraapit Yoga is formed when both Saturn and Rahu are in one sign. Both these planets give inauspicious results. Therefore, the Yoga formed with an association of these planets is known as Shraapit yoga. This yoga is also formed when Rahu is aspected by Saturn. It is believed that the presence of this yoga lessens the auspicious effects of other Yogas in a kundali. A person with this Yoga has to face obstacles and challenges in his life.
